Bodelwyddan Fountain

On a not so sunny day here in Bod, we can finally announce that the Bodelwyddan Fountain has now been reanimated for the duration of the summer.
This years’ switch on had to be delayed due to a faulty pump filter but now is all in working order for everyone to enjoy.
During the current pandemic it is so important that everyone is able to enjoy our outdoor spaces.
Work is also under way to tidy and freshen up our community.
Members of the Bodelwyddan Allotment Society are pruning and replanting both at the fountain site and in the centre of the village with flowers kindly donated by the Acting Mayor Joan Barker.

This weekend Cllr Abigail Mainon spent her Saturday afternoon tidying up the town with a litter-pick along the main hedge row. Inspiring a larger group of Councillors to make plans to undertake a litter-pick of the community playing fields later this month, following social distancing procedures.
